A delightful and nutritious treat, these Easy Frozen Yogurt Bites are perfect for a snack, dessert, or post-workout boost. They’re customizable and can fit various diets.
Ingredients
- 1 cup THICK Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt
- 3 tbsp cashew butter or almond butter
- 3 tbsp maple syrup (add another tbsp if needed)
- 3 tbsp of your favorite protein powder (optional)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Good pinch of sea salt
- Handful of cacao nibs (optional)
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
- 1/2 tbsp coconut oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, nut butter, maple syrup, protein powder (if using), sea salt, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
- Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if necessary.
- Pour the mixture into your selected mold, filling each compartment about two-thirds full.
- In a small bowl, combine coconut oil and chocolate. Melt using a double-boiler or microwave until smooth.
- Spoon melted chocolate on top of each yogurt-filled compartment.
- Freeze for 3-4 hours. Once frozen, remove from molds and store in an airtight container in the freezer.
Notes
For best results, use thick yogurt and feel free to customize mix-ins. Adjust sweetness according to taste.
