A quick and creamy dish featuring shrimp and garlic, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a plant-based cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
