Discover the simplicity and elegance of Bobby Flays Chicken Thighs in this Savory Chicken Thigh Recipe, featuring tender chicken thigh fillets smothered in a luscious and aromatic creamy garlic sauce. Perfect for both gourmet chicken dinner recipes and easy chicken thigh meals, this dish will warm your soul.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then sauté them in the pan until golden brown, about 5–7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add butter and garlic, sautéing until golden and fragrant.
  4. Stir in chicken broth, scraping the pan to add flavor, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add heavy cream, stirring continuously, then add parsley, thyme, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.
  6. Return the chicken thighs to the pan, ensuring each piece is coated in sauce. Simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes until fully cooked.
  7. Add the lemon zest and juice, then serve hot, garnished with extra parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Ensure garlic is not burnt to avoid bitterness.
  • Use fresh herbs for the best flavor.
  • Great with mashed potatoes, crusty bread, or a garden salad.
