- 1 roll (16.5 oz) sugar cookie dough
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

- Mandarin oranges

- Grapes
- 1/4 cup apple jelly, melted (for glaze)
Instructions
- Prep the Dough: Let sugar cookie dough sit at room temperature for 15 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Shape & Bake: Shape dough into a 12×8-inch oval (egg shape). Bake for 13–15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Let cool completely.
- Make the Frosting: In a bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
- Frost the Base: Spread cream cheese frosting evenly over the cooled cookie base, leaving a slight border around the edge.
- Add the Fruit: Decorate with sliced fresh fruit, arranging it in colorful patterns to resemble an Easter egg design.
- Glaze: Warm the apple jelly in the microwave and gently brush over the fruit to give it a shiny finish.
- Chill & Serve: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Slice and enjoy!
