Description

A comforting meatball casserole that combines savory meatballs, rich pasta sauce, and gooey cheese, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound frozen meatballs
  • 1 can (24 ounces) pasta sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (such as penne or rigatoni)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large casserole dish, toss in frozen meatballs. Pour pasta sauce and water over them, followed by uncooked pasta; mix gently.
  3. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 40 minutes.
  4. Remove the foil, add mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve hot.
