A comforting meatball casserole that combines savory meatballs, rich pasta sauce, and gooey cheese, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 1 pound frozen meatballs
- 1 can (24 ounces) pasta sauce
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups uncooked pasta (such as penne or rigatoni)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large casserole dish, toss in frozen meatballs. Pour pasta sauce and water over them, followed by uncooked pasta; mix gently.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 40 minutes.
- Remove the foil, add mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve hot.
Notes
