Ingredients
- 2 lbs potatoes
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 egg yolk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Nutmeg (optional)
- Parmesan cheese (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Peel and chop the potatoes, then boil them in salted water until tender.
- Drain the potatoes and mash them until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, mix the mashed potatoes with butter, heavy cream, egg yolk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg (if using).
- Spoon the mixture into a piping bag with a star nozzle.
- Pipe the potato mixture into desired shapes on a baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
