Ingredients

  • 28 oz. (800g) chicken thighs (skinless, bone-in)
  • Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp La Vera smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Dried Rosemary organic
  • ½ tsp White pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Juice from 1 lemon, freshly squeezed
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped or minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup Chicken Low Sodium Broth
  • 2 medium sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • Fresh chopped parsley (optional for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Season the chicken thighs with garlic powder, smoked paprika, rosemary, white pepper, and salt.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, then add chicken thighs, skin-side down. Sear until golden brown on each side, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, add onion and garlic, stirring until fragrant and translucent.
  4. Pour in lemon juice, scraping any browned bits from the skillet bottom.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet, pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, and add rosemary sprigs.
  6. Simmer gently until the sauce thickens and the chicken cooks through.
  7. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
