Ingredients
- 28 oz. (800g) chicken thighs (skinless, bone-in)
- Garlic powder
- 1 tsp La Vera smoked paprika
- 1 tsp Dried Rosemary organic
- ½ tsp White pepper
- Salt to taste
- Juice from 1 lemon, freshly squeezed
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped or minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup Chicken Low Sodium Broth
- 2 medium sprigs of fresh rosemary
- Fresh chopped parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken thighs with garlic powder, smoked paprika, rosemary, white pepper, and salt.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, then add chicken thighs, skin-side down. Sear until golden brown on each side, about 6-8 minutes.
- Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, add onion and garlic, stirring until fragrant and translucent.
- Pour in lemon juice, scraping any browned bits from the skillet bottom.
- Return chicken to the skillet, pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, and add rosemary sprigs.
- Simmer gently until the sauce thickens and the chicken cooks through.
- Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
