Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 4 low-carb tortillas
  • Sour cream, for serving
  • Shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • Jalapeño slices (optional)
  • Chopped cilantro (optional)


Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Whisk in cream cheese until melted. Gradually add heavy whipping cream and stir until smooth. Mix in cheddar cheese until melted.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and taco seasoning, cooking until browned (7-10 minutes). Strain excess grease.
  3. Lightly toast the tortillas in a skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable and slightly golden.
  4. Assemble the crunchwrap: Start with a tortilla base, add cheese sauce, seasoned beef, sour cream, shredded lettuce, chopped tomato, jalapeños, and an additional tortilla on top.
  5. Cook the assembled crunchwrap in the skillet seam-side down for 3-4 minutes until golden, flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  6. Slice in half and serve with extra sour cream or guacamole.
