Description
A tasty and satisfying alternative to traditional wraps, perfect for keto diets, filled with savory beef, creamy cheese sauce, and customizable ingredients.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 4 low-carb tortillas
- Sour cream, for serving
- Shredded lettuce
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- Jalapeño slices (optional)
- Chopped cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Whisk in cream cheese until melted. Gradually add heavy whipping cream and stir until smooth. Mix in cheddar cheese until melted.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and taco seasoning, cooking until browned (7-10 minutes). Strain excess grease.
- Lightly toast the tortillas in a skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable and slightly golden.
- Assemble the crunchwrap: Start with a tortilla base, add cheese sauce, seasoned beef, sour cream, shredded lettuce, chopped tomato, jalapeños, and an additional tortilla on top.
- Cook the assembled crunchwrap in the skillet seam-side down for 3-4 minutes until golden, flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Slice in half and serve with extra sour cream or guacamole.
Notes
Customize your crunchwrap by swapping beef for sautéed mushrooms or chicken. Keep tortillas warm to prevent tearing.
