Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- 1/2 cup assorted candies (M&Ms, toffee bits)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, nuts, and assorted candies.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden around the edges.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
