Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 jar of marinara sauce
  • 1 package of cheese-filled ravioli
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic; cook until the onion becomes translucent (about 5 minutes).
  4. Pour the marinara sauce into the skillet and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Cook the cheese-filled ravioli according to the package instructions, then set aside.
  6. In a greased casserole dish, spread a thin layer of the beef and marinara mixture.
  7. Place a layer of cooked ravioli on top of the sauce.
  8. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the ravioli.
  9. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a final layer of cheese on top.
  10. Season with salt and pepper.
  11. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  12. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  13. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
