Description
A refreshing and easy-to-make cucumber sandwich that’s perfect for a snack or tea party.
Ingredients
- 1 cucumber
- 8 slices of bread (white, whole grain, or gluten-free)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp dill or chives, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese with dill or chives. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture on each slice of bread.
- Thinly slice the cucumber and layer it on half of the bread slices.
- Top with the remaining bread slices to create sandwiches.
- If desired, butter the outer sides of the sandwiches.
- Cut the sandwiches into quarters or fingers for serving.
- Serve fresh at your tea party or enjoy while watching your favorite show.
Notes
These sandwiches are best served fresh. You can experiment with different herbs or spreads for variety.
