Delicious Crumbl Banana Bread Cookies that combine the warmth of banana bread with the sweetness of cookies, topped with a creamy glaze.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the ripe bananas, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt, then gradually add this to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips if desired.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- While the cookies cool, prepare the glaze by beating together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookies and enjoy!
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for maximum flavor. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature, or refrigerate for up to a week.
