This easy slow cooker ravioli lasagna layers frozen ravioli, rich meat sauce, and melty cheeses for a hearty, family-friendly comfort meal. No boiling or baking required — just layer and let the crockpot do the work!


Ingredients

  • 1 bag (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli (or beef)
  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara or spaghetti sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil (optional garnish)
  • Nonstick spray or crockpot liner

Instructions

  1. Brown the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef or sausage with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Drain excess fat and stir in the marinara sauce.
  2. Prepare the Crockpot: Spray the insert with nonstick spray or use a crockpot liner for easy cleanup.
  3. Layer the Ingredients:
    • Spread a layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
    • Add a single layer of frozen ravioli over the sauce.
    • Spoon dollops of ricotta or cottage cheese on top.
    • Sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
    • Repeat the layers until ingredients are used up, finishing with cheese on top.
  4. Cook:
    • LOW for 4–5 hours
    • or HIGH for 2.5–3 hours
  5. Rest: Let sit for 10 minutes before serving for cleaner slices.
  6. Garnish: Top with fresh basil leaves and serve hot.

Notes

Use beef or spinach ravioli for variety. For a spicier version, use hot Italian sausage or add red pepper flakes to the meat. Can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before cooking.
