This easy slow cooker ravioli lasagna layers frozen ravioli, rich meat sauce, and melty cheeses for a hearty, family-friendly comfort meal. No boiling or baking required — just layer and let the crockpot do the work!

- 1 bag (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli (or beef)
- 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara or spaghetti sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (optional garnish)
- Nonstick spray or crockpot liner
Instructions
- Brown the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef or sausage with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Drain excess fat and stir in the marinara sauce.
- Prepare the Crockpot: Spray the insert with nonstick spray or use a crockpot liner for easy cleanup.
- Layer the Ingredients:
- Spread a layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add a single layer of frozen ravioli over the sauce.
- Spoon dollops of ricotta or cottage cheese on top.
- Sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Repeat the layers until ingredients are used up, finishing with cheese on top.
- Cook:
- LOW for 4–5 hours
- or HIGH for 2.5–3 hours
- Rest: Let sit for 10 minutes before serving for cleaner slices.
- Garnish: Top with fresh basil leaves and serve hot.
Notes
Use beef or spinach ravioli for variety. For a spicier version, use hot Italian sausage or add red pepper flakes to the meat. Can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before cooking.
