Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat in a skillet. Drain excess fat.
- Layer the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add the beef mixture on top of the potatoes.
- Pour the beef broth over the mixture.
- Sprinkle in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours.
- Add cheese on top in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Garnish with parsley before serving, if desired.
