Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a Crockpot, layer the chicken breasts at the bottom.
- Add cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and set the Crockpot to low heat, cooking for 4–6 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the Crockpot using two forks.
- Stir in the cooked rice, broccoli florets, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes until the broccoli is tender and cheese is melted.
- Serve warm, garnished with extra cheese and fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For variations, consider using chicken thighs for richer flavor or swapping cheese types. Make sure to cook the chicken adequately for tenderness.
