Crispy Potato Balls are a delightful snack that are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, perfect for parties or quick appetizers.
Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated cheese (optional)
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes until tender, then drain and let them cool.
- Peel and mash the potatoes in a large bowl.
- Add the cheese, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
- Form the mixture into small balls.
- Roll each ball in breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the potato balls until golden and crispy on all sides, about 4-5 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.
Notes
For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs instead of regular breadcrumbs.
