Description

Crispy Potato Balls are a delightful snack that are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, perfect for parties or quick appetizers.


Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes until tender, then drain and let them cool.
  2. Peel and mash the potatoes in a large bowl.
  3. Add the cheese, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls.
  5. Roll each ball in breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  7. Fry the potato balls until golden and crispy on all sides, about 4-5 minutes.
  8. Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs instead of regular breadcrumbs.
