Description

An easy and delicious dinner option featuring tender chicken breasts in a creamy garlic sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 4 small to medium chicken breasts (or 2 large halved)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup light cream or heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or oregano
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. Lower the heat and add minced garlic to the pan, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the cream while stirring continuously to combine.
  6. Add Italian seasoning and grated parmesan cheese, mixing until smooth.
  7. If using spinach, stir it in and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Return the cooked chicken to the pan and spoon the sauce over the top. Let simmer for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
  9. Serve hot with pasta, roasted vegetables, or mashed potatoes.

Notes

For extra crunch, coat the chicken with breadcrumbs before frying. Feel free to adjust the garlic based on your taste preference.
