Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and chopped basil.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs.
- Dip each chicken breast in the eggs, then coat them in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the chicken cutlets for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until cooked through.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying for a good crispy texture. Use fresh basil for better flavor.
