A healthier alternative to deep-fried fries, these crispy baked zucchini fries are easy to make and taste delicious.
Ingredients
- 2 medium zucchinis
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Slice the zucchinis into fry shapes, aiming for even slices.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- Dip each zucchini fry into the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated fries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For a crunchier option, consider using crushed cornflakes instead of breadcrumbs.
