Ingredients
- 2 large apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Core and slice the apples into fry-like shapes.
- In the first bowl, mix the flour and cinnamon.
- In the second bowl, beat the egg.
- In the third bowl, combine breadcrumbs and sugar.
- Dip each apple slice first into the flour mixture, then the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Arrange the apple fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce.
