Ingredients
- 4 medium apples
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice apples into fry shapes and toss with lemon juice.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar.
- In another bowl, place breadcrumbs.
- Dip apple slices in flour mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange apple fries in a single layer.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Serve warm with dipping sauces of your choice.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. For freezing, lay them out in a single layer on a baking sheet, then transfer to a freezer-safe bag after solidifying.
