Delicious and easy-to-make creamy mushroom chicken meatballs that taste like a fancy restaurant dish.


Ingredients

  • 500g ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 10-12 minutes.
  4. Remove the meatballs and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in heavy cream and let it thicken slightly.
  7. Return meatballs to the skillet and coat them in the sauce. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.

Ensure to preheat the skillet and avoid overcrowding the meatballs for better browning.
