Description

A delicious and comforting pasta dish with rich and creamy sauce, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine or spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted water until al dente, reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, add garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream, whisk and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add Parmesan, salt, and black pepper; whisk until smooth.
  5. Combine pasta with the sauce, adjusting consistency with reserved pasta water as needed.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, use freshly minced garlic and don’t skip the reserved pasta water. Add red pepper flakes for heat.
