Ingredients
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 Italian sausages, casings removed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the Italian sausage and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the orzo and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the orzo is al dente.
