Ingredients
- 8 oz twisted pasta (fusilli or farfalle)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add diced chicken to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes.
- Slowly pour in heavy cream, bringing to a gentle simmer. Stir in grated parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until coated in the creamy sauce. Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
Notes
For added flavor, use freshly grated parmesan cheese. You can make this dish vegetarian by substituting chicken with sautéed vegetables or mushrooms.
