Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and Cajun seasoning; cook until shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese; cook until sauce thickens slightly.
- Toss in cooked pasta and mix until well coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve hot with a side salad or garlic bread. Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
