Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and Cajun seasoning; cook until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese; cook until sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Toss in cooked pasta and mix until well coated.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
