Ingredients
- 1 package egg noodles
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 cup crumbled bacon, divided
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper; whisk until smooth.
- Add noodles, shredded chicken, half of the cheddar cheese, and half of the bacon to the mixture; stir until evenly coated.
- Pour the mixture into a prepared 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading evenly; top with remaining cheese and bacon.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving; garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days, or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven for best results.
