Ingredients
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups shredded chicken
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 cup crumbled bacon, divided
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles in salted boiling water until just al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Add the cooked noodles, shredded chicken, half of the cheddar cheese, and half of the bacon to the sauce; stir gently to combine.
- Transfer the mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and bacon.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving, garnishing with green onions if desired.
Notes
For a spicier dish, consider adding cayenne or jalapeños. Broil for a crispy top.
