Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine flour, powdered sugar, and salt in a bowl. Mix well.
  3. Add softened butter and blend until crumbly, then press mixture into a tart pan to form the crust. Bake for 15 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix cranberries, sugar, orange juice, and orange zest. In another bowl, whisk eggs and vanilla; combine with cranberry mixture.
  5. Pour the filling into the baked crust and return to the oven. Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until set. Cool to room temperature before serving.

Notes
