Description

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped


Instructions

  1. Combine the dry ingredients: Mix the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Heat the wet ingredients: In a saucepan, gently heat the milk, orange juice, and melted butter until warm.
  3. Mix it all together: Pour the warm milk mixture into the dry ingredients and combine gently to form a dough.
  4. Incorporate the egg: Add the egg to the dough and stir until combined.
  5. Knead the dough: Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes.
  6. Fold in cranberries: Add the chopped cranberries and gently fold them into the dough.
  7. Let the dough rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  8. Shape the rolls: Punch down the dough, divide it, and shape into rolls. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake to perfection: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
