Ingredients
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 4 cups hash browns (frozen or fresh)
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, onions)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the hash browns, cooked sausage, and cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture over the layers evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the top is golden brown.
