Description

A hearty and delicious Cowboy Casserole made with ground beef, corn, creamy soup, and crispy tater tots.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the corn and cream of mushroom soup into the skillet with the beef, mixing well. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and spread it evenly.
  5. Top with shredded cheese and arrange the tater tots on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve with sliced green onions, sour cream, or additional cheese.
