Description
A hearty and delicious Cowboy Casserole made with ground beef, corn, creamy soup, and crispy tater tots.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 bag frozen tater tots
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the corn and cream of mushroom soup into the skillet with the beef, mixing well. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Top with shredded cheese and arrange the tater tots on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, serve with sliced green onions, sour cream, or additional cheese.
