  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir the melted butter into the bananas until well combined.
  4. Mix in the honey, egg, and vanilla extract until everything is smoothly blended.
  5. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix it in thoroughly.
  6. Gradually add the flour, mixing just until it’s incorporated; be careful not to over-mix.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
  8. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Once done, let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for best flavor and moisture. Experiment with add-ins like chopped nuts or chocolate chips.
