Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- A pinch of salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Stir the melted butter into the bananas until well combined.
- Mix in the honey, egg, and vanilla extract until everything is smoothly blended.
- Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix it in thoroughly.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing just until it’s incorporated; be careful not to over-mix.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once done, let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for best flavor and moisture. Experiment with add-ins like chopped nuts or chocolate chips.
