Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread

Description

Moist and flavorful banana bread with swirls of cinnamon, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth and stir in the melted butter.
  3. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  4. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract to the mixture.
  5. Mix in the flour until just incorporated.
  6. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Pour half the batter into the prepared loaf pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture over it, and add the remaining batter followed by the rest of the cinnamon mixture on top.
  8. Swirl the batter with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  9. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Best enjoyed warm or at room temperature. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
