Description
A delicious mashup of churros and tres leches cake, featuring a crunchy cinnamon sugar topping and a super moist interior.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, sugar, and butter in a bowl until combined.
- Add milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool and poke holes all over the top.
- In a separate bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream.
- Pour the milk mixture over the cake allowing it to soak in.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- Before serving, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Notes
For best results, chill overnight to enhance flavor and texture.
