Description
A delightful chocolate roulade filled with whipped cream and mixed berries, perfect for festive gatherings.
Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 100g granulated sugar
- 75g all-purpose flour
- 25g cocoa powder
- 200ml heavy cream
- 150g mixed berries
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Whisk the eggs and sugar until thick and pale, about 5-7 minutes.
- Sift in the flour and cocoa powder, gently folding to combine.
- Spread the mixture onto a lined baking tray evenly.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until firm to the touch.
- Cool the cake on a damp towel and then roll it while still warm.
- Once cooled, whip the cream, fold in berries, fill the roulade, and roll it up again.
Notes
Serve garnished with fresh berries or with a scoop of ice cream for added delight.
