Description

Ingredients

  • 1 whole ham (about 10-12 pounds)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Place the ham in a roasting pan, fat-side up.
  3. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, ground cloves, and ground cinnamon until well blended.
  4. Brush the mixture over the ham.
  5. Cover the ham with foil and bake for 1.5 to 2 hours.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes, glazing every 10 minutes.
  7. Let the ham rest for about 15-20 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Make sure to baste the ham often during the last baking period for a rich glaze.
