Description

A festive cheesecake with a creamy texture and spiced flavor, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well blended.
  3. Firmly press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create a solid crust.
  4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar together until it reaches a smooth and creamy consistency.
  5. Mix in the vanilla extract and blend until fully incorporated.
  6. Add the eggs one at a time, ensuring to mix thoroughly after each addition for a silky texture.
  7. Gently stir in the sour cream, all-purpose flour, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.
  8. Pour the cheesecake batter over the prepared crust in the springform pan, spreading it evenly.
  9. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  10. Once baked, let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for better blending. Consider baking in a water bath to prevent cracks.
