Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
- Stir in melted butter.
- Mix in the brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in.
- Stir in the cocoa powder, then the flour until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for about 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
