Delicious chocolate chip cookies with soft centers and crispy edges, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips (and chunks)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend this into the creamed mixture.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and chunks.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh for up to a week. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
