A delightful treat combining ripe bananas and sweet chocolate chips, perfect for a quick snack or dessert.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mix the melted butter with the mashed bananas.
- Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt.
- Add the flour and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
For best results, use very ripe bananas and don’t overmix the batter. You can add nuts for extra texture or experiment with different types of chocolate chips.
