A healthy and indulgent Chocolate Banana Protein Bread that is perfect for breakfast or a snack, blending ripe bananas with rich cocoa.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup protein powder
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
- Add eggs, honey (or maple syrup), and almond milk to the mashed bananas, mixing well until combined.
- In another bowl, combine protein powder, almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips evenly throughout the batter.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and smooth out the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the center.
- Allow to cool before slicing.
Notes
Use ripe bananas for the best sweetness. Store in an airtight container for 2-3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week.
