Description

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked egg noodles or rice for serving


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook until softened.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce, and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in the sour cream until well combined.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. For a thicker sauce, add cornstarch mixed with water during simmering.
