A delicious and easy dish made with juicy chicken kofta paired with a refreshing creamy garlic yogurt sauce. Perfect for family dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Skewers (if grilling)
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into elongated shapes and thread them onto skewers if grilling.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat and cook the kofta for about 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- For the sauce, mix yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, and salt in a bowl until smooth.
- Serve the kofta hot with the creamy garlic yogurt sauce on the side.
Notes
You can also bake the kofta in an oven preheated to 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes. Adjust the garlic in the yogurt sauce to suit your taste.
