Description

Deliciously cheesy and spicy jalapeño poppers with a crispy breadcrumb topping, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 12 jalapeño peppers
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  3. Mix together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, paprika, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  5. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of each filled jalapeño.
  6. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter version, swap cream cheese with ricotta or goat cheese. For a veggie twist, fill jalapeños with black beans or diced vegetables.
