Description
Deliciously cheesy and spicy jalapeño poppers with a crispy breadcrumb topping, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 12 jalapeño peppers
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
- Mix together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, paprika, and a pinch of salt.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of each filled jalapeño.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For a lighter version, swap cream cheese with ricotta or goat cheese. For a veggie twist, fill jalapeños with black beans or diced vegetables.
