  • Author: ELENE
  • Total Time: 30 minutes + marinate
  • Yield: 24 wraps 1x

Description

Flavor-packed garlic-marinated chicken wrapped with melty cheese and creamy garlic sauce in a toasted tortilla. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or meal prep—customizable with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup mayonnaise or sour cream
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (for sauce)
  • 24 large flour tortillas
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)

Optional Add-ons:

  • Jalapeños
  • Caramelized onions
  • Avocado slices
  • Spinach or arugula

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper. Coat the chicken thoroughly and marinate for at least 30 minutes (preferably overnight).
  2. Make the Garlic Sauce: Mix mayonnaise or sour cream with roasted or minced garlic, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
  3. Cook the Chicken: Grill, bake, or pan-sear the marinated chicken until fully cooked. Slice or shred as desired.
  4. Assemble the Wraps: Warm the flour tortillas slightly to make them more pliable. Spread garlic sauce on each tortilla, then layer with cooked chicken, cheddar, mozzarella, and any optional add-ins like jalapeños, onions, avocado, or greens.
  5. Toast the Wrap: Roll the tortillas tightly and toast them seam-side down in a hot skillet until golden and the cheese is melted.
  6. Serve: Slice in half and garnish with parsley. Serve warm with extra garlic sauce or your favorite side.

Notes

For extra crispiness, brush the wrap with a bit of oil or butter before toasting. These wraps are great for meal prep—store un-toasted and heat up fresh.
