A comforting pasta bake that combines creamy cheese and zesty buffalo sauce for a rich and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (macaroni or rotini)
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and half of the shredded cheese. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
- Garnish with chopped green onions or parsley if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider using spicy buffalo sauce or adding diced jalapeños.
