Description
A comforting skillet meal combining all the flavors of a classic cheeseburger in just 25 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup uncooked macaroni
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat.
- Add the diced tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the uncooked macaroni and beef broth.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese until melted.
- Serve hot.
Notes
Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days. To reheat, add a splash of broth or water to restore creaminess.
