Ingredients
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Separate the egg whites from the yolks in clean bowls.
- Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Mix the yolks, cream cheese, salt, and shredded cheese until well combined.
- Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the yolk mixture.
- Scoop the mixture onto the baking sheet to form small rounds.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Toast frozen slices for a fresh taste.
