Description

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (or pecans)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded carrots and grated apple.
  2. Add the raisins and chopped walnuts.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and apple cider vinegar.
  4. Pour the dressing over the carrot and apple mixture.
  5. Toss well to coat.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a healthier version, substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt. You can also add spices like cinnamon for extra flavor.
